July 10th - Last day for entry forms to be received or postmarked. REMEMBER TO SIGN YOUR ENTRY AND INCLUDE A COLOR PHOTO

July 24th & 25th - 9 am – 2 pm – Quilt Intake accepted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church

July 26th 1pm -5 pm MEMBERS Setup.  6 pm  Heart of the Basin Guild meeting - MEMBERS ONLY .

​July 27th & 28th - Quilt Show – Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Saturday 9 am - 4 pm and Sunday 9 am - 3 pm

July 28th​​​Pick up quilts – quilts will be released one hour after close of show. If you cannot pick up your quilt, please let us know who to release it to

Colleen Pelfry's Decolourant Fabric Painting demonstration was highly entertaining and informative.

Featured quilter was Carole Bowen of Klamath Falls. She is a master of miniature quilts, redwork, wool applique, needle applique and pieced quilts.  Carole designs intricate blocks on paper and then creates 12" x 12" miniature quilts with hundreds of pieces.

 Come meet Carole and see her wonderful quilts.

2019 Heart of the Basin Quilt Show

Kathy's memorial; a poignant reminder of a happy friend and talented quilter.

This is a biannual challenge among the Southern Oregon Longarm (SOLA) group, with each quilter following guidelines. This year it was to use one identical fat quarter each, with only one additional fabric. No limit on embellishment.


July 27 & 28, 2019

Traditional, Modern and Art Quilts, Vendors, Raffle Quilt, Raffle Baskets, Challenge Quilt Display, Resist Fabric Painting Demonstrations by Colleen Pelfry, Bed Turning by Nell Mathern, Kids Treasure Hunt. Food Vendor on site.

We displayed quilts made by Kathy Skelton as a special remembrance to honor her.  She is rememberd as a vital, fun and wonderful member of this guild.
